MENTORING/INTERIM MANAGEMENT
Our mentoring approach is to work beside the
incumbent, whether a new appointee or an old hand, to support
them in developing new skills or to bed in new processes. This
is often a project role and can be on a full time or part time
basis (possibly once a week). Our consultants broad knowledge of
Supply Chain Management and business principles and processes
means they “hit the ground running” and can be of immediate
support to the management person they are mentoring. Consultants
are trained in Ontological Coaching.
An interim manager on
the other hand may be described as "an all-in-one project
manager, consultant, and senior executive working in the
business on a temporary basis". Organisations typically choose
interim managers either to fill roles that are temporary or to
fill critical staffing gaps when a permanent employee cannot be
found fast enough. Although they are frequently called
'consultants', interim managers differ from consultants because
they typically serve in a line management capacity.
